Our Mission

As Jesus called the children unto Himself and showed them how important they were to him, we are called to do the same. We strive to honor God and to minister to the children through our Sunday morning programs and the special events scheduled throughout the year.

Our goal is to come along side the families who are building a foundation in Christ for their children and to serve those children who perhaps do not have a believing family but are themselves open to the Gospel. The great commission was not limited to any one grouping of individuals, but instead meant for ALL of God’s children, young and old alike. Barna Research shows that 85% of all Christians accept Christ between the ages of 6 and 13. Amazing, isn’t it?

The plans and programs of the KidZone (Children’s) Ministry are prayerfully constructed and spiritually scrutinized. If they don’t bear fruit, build community, strengthen our walk, honor the Lord, and/or reach the unbeliever, then we are not being good stewards of the time, talent, and treasures that the Lord has entrusted to our care. Through a dedicated staff and faithful volunteers, we provide many opportunities for growth and fellowship throughout each year.

Beyond Sunday mornings we have events and programs scheduled throughout the year that are noted on our KidZone Events page and will be featured in the weekly Truro Family News, available on Sunday mornings.
